Autoswage Projects include:

Umbilical Intervention Connectors

Four (two pairs) Umbilical Intervention Connectors (UIC) were supplied based on a double ended Autoswage design to fit a 1" jumper tube. In this case the connector used PTFE and nitrile seals to withstand an operational pressure 10,000 PSI (690Bar). The connector was pre-tested to pressure 15,000 PSI (1034 Bar).

Repairing leaking valve and pipelines

This project involved using Autoswage to bypass a leaking valve and pipe on subsea manifold where there was limited access. All work was carried out using a ROV at approximate 400m water depth. First Subsea supplied a complete Autoswage bypass loop comprising straight connectors, and two 90 degree Elbow connectors.

The Autoswage connectors were made from Inconel with silicon nitride balls, the seals were HNBR seals with PEEK backup rings. Operating pressure for the connectors is 258.6 barg (3750 Psi), with pressure testing before installation to 323.25 barg (4688 Psi).
